As a composer in the world of music and film, I learned firsthand the transformative power of sound and its influence on our emotions. However, a personal health crisis, marked by stress-induced hearing loss in my right ear, introduced me to anxiety on an unprecedented scale. It was in this challenging period that I discovered the remarkable ability to modulate my body's responses using breathing exercises, which played a pivotal role in managing my stress and eradicating anxiety. Motivated by this experience, I decided to craft a solution for others.
The outcome? 59 Breaths—an app that seamlessly blends personalized breathing exercises with real-time biofeedback tracking, designed for iPhone and Apple Watch. The origin of "59 Breaths" is not by chance—59 intentional breaths each day equate to roughly 10 minutes of slow breathing, the threshold to enhance Heart Rate Variability (HRV), a measure that reflects how well one’s nervous system is able to handle stress.

We stand for making mental fitness accessible to all, so we allocate half of our profits to support mental fitness research and initiatives that nurture mental well-being. Moreover, we offer financial aid to those unable to afford a subscription, providing them access to our comprehensive 8-week course and premium features.
